Outsourcing of studies

Elia outsources some studies to design offices. The scope of the assignment varies from a simple study to a turnkey project (study, works and project follow-up). Study assignments mainly relate to high-voltage substations, lines and cables in the fields of civil engineering and electricity.

Contracting

To mitigate resource demand peaks, Elia uses external labour by means of a managed service provider that manages companies supplying external consultants.
