Installation of a 12.6 kV (medium voltage) underground connection between the Gerpinnes and Hanzinelle substations in order to secure the region’s supply.

In order to ensure the reliability of the electricity grid and the security of supply of the area, Elia, the transmission system operator in Belgium, will install an underground connection with a voltage level of 12.6 kV (medium voltage), over a length of 7.4 km in the municipality of Gerpinnes and the town of Florennes.
