Coaching and tests at contractor

Dear Contractors,

we will be giving you the chance to take a day contractor coaching session for Work Leaders (full, light and line-profile). These sessions will be run in French and Dutch and will be held at your company or at a location of your choice. This is a service we at Elia are offering to provide further assistance to our contractors in training and testing their staff on the safety measures in place wherever we carry out work, to ensure that appropriately qualified personnel are working on our sites.

Benefits of this service:

• Quality coaching provided by a qualified Elia trainer.
• Flexibility: The coaching session will be held on a date that suits you.
• Limited travel: The session will take place at a location of your choice.
• Test and results on the same day and certificates issued within a week.

Conditions you as a client must meet to use this service:

• As a guide, there must be between 10 and 20 participants (the quotation will be adjusted for larger groups).
• All measures required by the public authorities must be complied with. The same applies to the additional COVID-19 measures imposed by Elia, such as: Participants who feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19 must stay at home!
• Participants are requested to bring their own pens.
• Laying on a room with the appropriate furniture/equipment/fittings (desk, chair, projector, HDMI cable, extension cord with at least two power sockets, white board or wall) to project the presentation and with the appropriate resources to enable participants to participate in the training session under the best possible conditions.
• Providing a parking space nearby for the Elia trainer
• Providing a lunch for the Elia trainer
• The request must be submitted through the website using the standard process at least one month before the desired training date.
• Elia will make every effort to hold the session on the desired date, provided that an Elia examiner is available then.
• The required particulars (BA4/BA5, photo) must be sent to us through the website at least two weeks before the training session.

Disclaimer: If these requirements are not met, the trainer reserves the right to refuse the coaching session and to invoice for it.

Price: €3,300 flat fee (excluding VAT)
NB: For coaching sessions abroad, travel and accommodation expenses are on top of this and must be agreed in advance.

We will be giving you the chance to have an Elia examiner come to your company or a location of your choice to oversee tests (for contractors/work leaders). This is a service we at Elia are planning to provide to offer as much flexibility as possible to contractors who want this and help ensure that our contractors have a workforce that is always suitably qualified and able to apply Elia's safety and security measures.

Benefits of this service:

• A qualified Elia examiner.
• Flexibility: The tests will be held on a date that suits you.
• Limited travel: The tests will take place at a location of your choice in Belgium or abroad.
• Results on the same day and certificates issued within a week.

Conditions you as a client must meet to use this service:

• As a guide, there will be a maximum of 20 participants per slot (1 hour, and all slots must be consecutive), and the price will apply for up to two slots (the quotation will be adjusted for larger groups).
• All measures required by the public authorities must be complied with. The same applies to the additional COVID-19 measures imposed by Elia, including: Participants who feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19 must stay at home!
• Participants are requested to bring their own pens.
• Laying on a room with the furniture/equipment/fittings required to enable the participants to take the test under the best possible conditions.
• Providing a parking space nearby for the Elia examiner
• The request must be submitted through the website using the standard process at least one month beforehand.

This is a service we at Elia are planning to provide to offer as much flexibility as possible to contractors who want this and help ensure that our contractors have a workforce that is always suitably qualified and able to apply Elia's safety and security measures, and to do so within a reasonable period.

Benefits of this service:

• A qualified Elia examiner.

• Flexibility: The tests will be held on a date that suits you.
• Limited travel: The tests will take place at a location of your choice in Belgium or abroad.
• Results will be issued on the day itself, and successful candidates will be added to the system immediately.

Conditions you as a client must meet to use this service:

• A maximum of 10 participants
• You must be needing to carry out some urgent work, and that week's plenary test session must no longer be available.
• The request must be accompanied by confirmation from an Elia staff member that the work is urgent.
• All measures required by the public authorities must be complied with. The same applies to the additional COVID-19 measures imposed by Elia, including: Participants who feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19 must stay at home!
• Participants are requested to bring their own pens.
• Laying on a room with the furniture/equipment/fittings required to enable the participants to take the test under the best possible conditions.
• Providing a parking space nearby for the Elia examiner
• The request must be submitted by email at least three working days in advance to [email protected].
• Elia will make every effort to hold the test on the desired date, provided that an Elia examiner is available then.
• The required particulars (BA4/BA5, photo) must be sent to us through the website at least one working day before the test.

Dear Contractors,

We will be giving you the possibility to book an Elia examiner for a date of your choice to organize tests for non-urgent planned works for which it is not reasonably possible to participate to the plenary test session. This is a service we at Elia are planning to provide to offer more flexibility to contractors who want this and help ensure that our contractors have a workforce that is always suitably qualified and able to apply Elia's safety and security measures, and to do so within a reasonable period.

Benefits of this service:

• A qualified Elia examiner.
• Flexibility: The tests will be held on a date that suits you.
• Limited travel: The tests will take place at Schaerbeek and you can prove that it is reasonably impossible to participate to the plenary test session.
• Results will be issued on the day itself, and successful candidates will be added to the system immediately.

Conditions you as a client must meet to use this service:

• A maximum of 10 participants
• You need to  carry out some non-urgent planned work and you can prove that it is not reasonably possible to participate to the plenary test session.
• All measures required by the public authorities must be complied with. The same applies to the additional COVID-19 measures imposed by Elia, including: Participants who feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19 must stay at home!
• Participants are requested to bring their own pens.
• The request must be submitted by email at least two weeks in advance to [email protected] .
• Elia will make every effort to hold the test on the desired date, provided that an Elia examiner is available then.
• The required particulars (BA4/BA5, photo) must be sent to us through the website at least three workings day before the test.

Example:

• We are the 15th of June 2021 and the work is planned for 15th July 2021
• Test session on 12th July 2021: the agent is unable to attend as he is abroad
• 30th June 2021: the company submits its request for a special test service for 14th July via the website with all the necessary information
• 14th July 2021: the agent arrives in Belgium by plane, goes to Schaerbeek and takes the test
• 15th July 2021: the agent can go to the substation to carry out his work
