Elia Group awarded 2020 BelMid Company of the Year
Elia Group receives the BelMid Company of the Year 2020 award during Euronext annual New Year’s Ceremony. The company receives this award because it has demonstrated the highest relative increase in market capitalization last year. Since 2005 Elia Group is listed on Euronext Brussels.
Elia Group is active in Belgium (Elia) and in Germany (50Hertz) in electricity transmission and ensures that production and consumption are balanced around the clock, supplying 30 million end users with electricity. As such, Elia Group is one of Europe‘s top 5. Belgian minister of Finance, Vincent Van Peteghem, presented the award during a virtual webcast. The Euronext Brussels Awards are based exclusively on measurable figures. Elia Group achieved the strongest increase in market capitalization among the companies composing the BEL Mid index in 2020.
